When you first log in to Phocas you see a default home screen containing list of alerts, databases, dashboards and favorites. This list displays only items you have access to. You can leave this as your home screen, or replace it with a personalised dashboard of your own.

Set an open dashboard as home

With a dashboard open, choose star  > Set as Home Dashboard

You will be asked to confirm. Select Yes. The next time you open Phocas, or when you select Home from anywhere within Phocas, you will be taken to that dashboard.

Choose from a list of dashboards

From the Phocas menu, select Dashboards > Manage to open a list of all dashboards to which you have access.

Select the gray home iconat the right of a dashboard. Once you confirm your selection, the icon will turn black . In the screenshot below, the user has selected 'Region A dash' to be his new home dashboard.

The next time you open Phocas, or when you select Home from anywhere within Phocas, you will be taken to that dashboard. Below, 'Region A dash' is now set as home.

Getting to 'Home'

Choosing the Phocas logo from anywhere in Phocas will take you to your home dashboard.

Reverting to the default home screen

To revert to the default home screen,  click the Phocas menu > dashboards > manage dashboards and then simply select the black Home icon to 'unset' the dashboard. Once you confirm the change, your home screen will change back to the default one. You can change this as often as you like.

Note that if you delete a dashboard you have set as your home dashboard, the original default home screen will again become your home screen.
